Coffee table books I’d collect (if money were no object)

As beautiful as coffee table books are, I would only ever own them for aesthetic purposes. I love the look of coffee table books as decorative accents, but they are so expensive and so heavy, so I can’t really justify buying them–but if I were gifted any, that would be completely acceptable.

I actually own one coffee table book and it is Maria Callas: The ExhibitionMy sister gifted it to me one year at Christmas because she knows Maria Callas is one of my favorite performers ever.

But if money were no object and I could buy all the coffee table books I wanted, these are a few of the books I’d love to collect–some of which I am actually considering purchasing!

kate spade new york: all in good taste

This is one I’m strongly considering for personal purchase because if you know me at all, Kate Spade is my ultimate aesthetic.

That’s What She Said: Wise Words from Influential Women

This is currently available for $14.99 which I think is such a bargain and so it is a definite contender for purchase. This features beautiful artwork of various influential women throughout history, accompanied by one of their notable quotes and a brief bio.

Peonies: Beautiful Varieties for Home & Garden

I think peonies are some of the most beautiful flowers ever. Looking at some of the sample pages, I could actually picture myself reading this from time to time, picking up random tidbits about various types of peonies for no reason.

kate spade new york: SHE: muses, visionaries and madcap heroines

Suprise! Another Kate Spade coffee table book. Apparently this is the fourth book in a series. It is another ode to female activists and icons throughout history.

Chanel: Collections and Creations

I can’t imagine I’ll ever be in a place where I can even consider purchasing a Chanel handbag (especially after my favorite London YouTuber discussed their most recent price increases). But an enormous photo-book of everything Chanel would probably do just fine for me!

Air

This book looks and sounds so incredibly cool. It contains aerial photographs of various cities throughout the world including New York, Miami, Chicago, London, Barcelona and many more.

Great Houses of the South

I am not a southern belle by any means, but I am so in love with the aesthetic of large, southern homes. Not only are they beautiful but you can tell there’s some history behind them.

Beautifully Organized: A Guide to Function and Style in Your Home

I used to watch Nikki Boyd’s YouTube videos frequently because of how extremely organized she is. When I saw this book I was excited, especially since you can purchase it for just $11!

Walt Disney’s Disneyland

I knew I had to get at least one Disney book onto this list. Did you know I was named after Princess Jasmine from DIsney’s Aladdin? I have only ever been to Disney in Florida once as a young child and since then, could never really afford to take a trip there. Now that I’m sort of a grown up with an actual job, I look forward to making trips in the future (definitely not right now).

Do you collect coffee table books? Do you have any on your wish list?
